That kind of quiet, steady love is a gift we do not take for granted. We love that Joelle is growing up in an environment where faith is woven into every part of the day. Avalon Christian School has truly been a blessing for our family. From the very beginning, we felt that it was more than just a place for our children to learn, it is a place where children are deeply loved, encouraged, and guided, and where families feel welcomed and supported. One of the things we value the most is how Avalon Christian School helps nurture and strengthen our children’s relationship with God in ways that go beyond the guidance we can provide at home. During one of our night prayers and conversations, our four year old daughter Ellisha told me in a very confident and heartfelt way, “Jesus died on the cross for us to be saved because He loves us so much, and we need to love each other like He loves us.” Hearing her say that so clearly and sincerely was such an impactful moment for us as parents. It reminded us how much she is learning not only academically, but also spiritually, and it has had a beautiful impact on our own family’s spiritual life as well. The school also provides a wonderful academic foundation that prepares children well for what comes next. The teachers combine learning, creativity, and structure in a way that keeps the children excited and engaged every day. One memory that always makes us smile is when our little one, Emily, didn’t speak at school for the first three months, even though she talked perfectly at home. Then one day, as we were leaving through the school’s exit, her teacher heard her speak for the first time. The joy and excitement shared by the teacher, the director, and the staff made it such a special and unforgettable moment. It was a beautiful reminder of how much the whole team celebrates even the smallest milestones of each child, caring for them with the same love and pride as if they were their own. I often remember that moment when I think about the book “Our Class Is a Family,” which was a gift from her teacher. The message of that book captures perfectly what Avalon Christian School feels like for our daughters, a place where they feel loved, safe, supported, and truly part of a family. We are deeply grateful for the love, faith, and care Avalon Christian School has brought into our children’s lives, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it to any family looking for a place where their children will be nurtured academically, spiritually, and with genuine love.

Having Milania attend Avalon Church this year has truly been a blessing for our family. The teachers truly care about our daughter and have created a loving, nurturing environment where she can grow and learn. Avalon Christian Preschool has truly blessed our family. Our daughter, still has some struggles with deficits, but has grown a lot socially and in her language skills since starting her preschool journey with Ms. Angela.
